At St. Paul’s Hospital, caring for our community is our top priority. Our Emergency Department provides expertise in emergency medicine, using a holistic and compassionate approach to provide 24/7 emergent care for people living in Saskatoon. Our team also offers services to patients from across Northern Saskatchewan who require advanced clinical assessment and care – delivering skilled, compassionate support when it matters most.

Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment where skilled physicians, nurses and support staff work together to provide compassionate, critical care that respects the physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural needs of every patient.

We care for individuals of all ages who experience medical emergencies, whether arriving by ambulance, walk-in or transfer from another facility. We proudly serve Saskatoon and Northern Saskatchewan in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

The Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day and provides rapid assessment and treatment for acute medical concerns. Our team delivers expert, patient-centred care across a range of emergent health needs – including trauma, illness and mental health crises.

Every patient who enters our Emergency Department is met with a commitment to compassionate, holistic care.

Our Emergency Department is located in the A Wing, main floor. The Emergency entrance is at the southeast corner of the hospital, on 20th street and Avenue P.

Access to the Emergency Department remains open during ongoing construction. Please allow extra time for parking and navigation and follow posted signage.
