Today, we join together to honour and remember Irene Dubé. ❤️
We join together to honour and remember Irene Dubé, a remarkable woman whose generosity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to others have left an indelible mark on Saskatchewan.
Alongside her beloved husband Leslie, Irene dedicated her life to improving the well-being of others. Together, they built a meaningful legacy through their business, their community leadership, and their extraordinary generosity, helping advance healthcare, education, community services, and countless charitable causes across our community, province, and throughout the world. We will remember Irene for her kindness, humility, deep faith, and genuine care for people.
Irene’s philanthropy was expressed in the countless ways she gave of herself. She freely shared her time, talents, and heart, knitting hundreds of afghans for patients in our care. These handmade gifts brought comfort and warmth to people during some of life’s most difficult moments, reflecting Irene’s profound compassion and genuine concern for others.
On behalf of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation, and Royal University Hospital Foundation, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Dubé family and all who knew and loved Irene.
Thank you, Irene. Through a life of faith, generosity, and service, you helped build a stronger, more compassionate community and, in doing so, inspired us all to do the same. Your legacy lives on in the countless lives you touched and in the enduring example of kindness and care you leave behind.
