Vegas Garden Party
On May 10, 2025, Bohlmann Event Productions, led by mother and son Sheila and Tristan Bohlmann, hosted the Vegas Garden Party to raise awareness and funds for kidney health. Inspired by Sheila’s kidney transplant in January 2024, the event aimed to bring attention to and provide support for the growing demand for dialysis and kidney transplants in Saskatchewan.
Reflecting on her transplant experience at St. Paul’s, Sheila shared, “The entire transplant team from start to finish was absolutely AMAZING! I just kept thinking over and over, how these healthcare professionals… are not only known across Canada, but many are also published… we have the best of the best in Canada!”
Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of donors, the event raised an impressive $24,591 in net proceeds to support the Saskatchewan Transplant Program at St. Paul’s Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation’s By Your Side Kidney Care Campaign.
Together, these initiatives support patients throughout their kidney health journey by improving care services, increasing quality of life, and facilitating life-saving transplants for individuals with advanced Chronic Kidney Disease.
Sheila emphasizes the importance of supporting those who care for patients as well as patients themselves, saying, “Our top notch St. Paul’s staff deserve a top notch facility.” Tristan and Sheila’s exceptional planning and dedication is making a true difference, and inspiring others to create meaningful change in kidney health across the province.
